I am a recent graduate of the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy and member of the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia. While completing my training, I did relaxation massage at the Sparkling Hill Spa in Vernon, B.C. Going forward, I plan to learn more about, and perhaps focus on, myofascial release, craniosacral work, muscle energy and visceral manipulation.
I am passionate about Massage Therapy because through it I can help people to improve their quality of life in a very practical way. The benefits of massage are not only physical. An RMT can also play a part in emotional and psychological well-being.
Although I am gentle by nature and prefer to use that approach in my treatments, I also enjoy working on trigger points and knots to help the body release its tension. I am committed to accurate and thorough assessments that help guide treatment and track progress.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing sports, dancing and studying Korean. Also, having grown up in Jakarta, Indonesia, I developed an appreciation for cultural diversity and travel.
I look forward to coming alongside you to facilitate and encourage your healing.
