I am a 2010 graduate of the Utopia Academy in Vancouver, and am registered with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia. I moved to the Okanagan with my family in 2012, and began my practice with Active Living in September of that year.
My interests with massage and manual therapies are long standing. I have a background in Tuina, a traditional Chinese massage, and am also certified in Thai massage, having received my training in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
I have volunteered at the Vancouver Friends For Life Society, working with people with chronic and life-threatening illnesses. I have also volunteered at various athletic outreaches, including marathons and triathlons, and have provided therapeutic treatments for individual marathon runners throughout their training and post-event recoveries.
I have experience treating people with many different health conditions, and collaborate with my clients to create an individualized treatment plan that is specific to that persons health needs. I also work in a preventative capacity to help my clients maintain a healthy body and reach their full health potential. I am very passionate about my practice as a Registered Massage Therapist, and am committed to continuing education and expanding my knowledge and ability.
When I’m not working, I like to cook, garden, practice qi gong, and especially love to hang out with my wife and daughter.
